Your day to day As an Engineering Coordinator you will be: Responsible for maintaining a logical records/ filing system for the department Co-ordinate work requests through communicating with the other departments Log maintenance requests into the maintenance system-QEMS Purchase requisition initiation Assist the Chief Engineer in processing of invoices and cost tracking for the department Coordinate Employee Engagement Survey and follow up on action points raised in the department Coordinate pest control in the hotel by contractor as per agreed schedule Assist the engineer with productivity tracking Convenes/attends engineering departmental meetings. Maintain and enhance good working relationship with hotel staff, guests and suppliers. Comply with the company corporate code of conduct at all times. Demonstrate an understanding and an awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety. Order parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining “green” initiatives. Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures. Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of your line manager.
